Intelligent Document Creation
Reportedly, over 1 billion people rely on Microsoft Office either at work, home or within an educational establishment.
Whether this statistic is entirely true I don’t know, but what I do know is that Microsoft Word is by far the most popular application for generating documentation. Following on from the success of Casewise’s V-Modeler solution which enables you to work in real-time with MS Visio as a front end to the Casewise Modeler, Casewise has now released Communicator4Word, a new plug-in to Casewise’s leading enterprise modeling solution, Casewise Modeler Suite.
Communicator4Word enables Casewise Modeler Suite users the ability to create and populate Word documents using data directly from the central data repository; and with many organizations using pre-defined Microsoft Word templates and styles, Communicator4Word allows for any one of these to be used or created and then populated with content all within a data driven environment.
The benefit of a data driven approach means you maintain the style and templates already used within your organization ensuring brand continuity and adherence to corporate standards and guidelines. Communicator4Word then completes these documents with the necessary information whenever you require the document to be updated or produced using Windows Scheduler.
Developed for usage by document authors, Communicator4Word works with both Microsoft Word 2007 and 2010 and utilizes the Casewise Modeler’s XML export capability.
Communicator4Word is a major step forwards in offering Casewise Modeler users a data driven user interface. The capability to plan document generation using Windows Scheduler combined with the ability of creating templates which can be repeatedly used allows for continuity, adherence to corporate/brand guidelines while offering Casewise Modeler users added value.
